To support the continued growth of a portfolio company of BlackFin Capital Partners, ASPORTO, Unipessoal Lda. is recruiting for this position based in Porto, Portugal. 

BlackFin’s portfolio companies is a leading German capital management company (KVG) with more than €400 billion in assets under administration, serving institutional investors across Europe. BlackFin Capital Partners is a European private equity firm specializing in investments in high-growth financial services companies. The firm currently manages over €4 billion in assets and invests through its two most recent funds: BlackFin Financial Services Fund IV (€1.8 billion) and BlackFin Tech 2 (€390 million).

ASPORTO is being established as a dedicated and strategic Service Center for the capital management company. It is designed to serve as a key operational hub, delivering high-quality fund accounting and management company services while setting new benchmarks in scalability, process efficiency, and service excellence.

This role is with ASPORTO and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development and long-term success of the Porto platform.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant to our Site Manager for our Porto office.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the Managing Director / Site Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Manage calendar coordination, meeting scheduling and preparation
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports and management materials in line with business priorities
  • Act as a key interface between the Managing Director / Site Manager, internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the coordination of projects, initiatives and operational topics
  • Organize travel arrangements, bookings and expense processing in accordance with internal policies
  • Support communication and information flow across the site, ensuring transparency and timely follow-up on decisions
  • Assist with onboarding and administrative processes for new hires in close coordination with Office Management and HR
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and ways of working within the Service Center

 

Your Skills:

  • Completed commercial training, business administration qualification or a comparable educational background
  • First experience in an executive assistant, management support, office management or administrative role is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • High level of reliability, discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential matters
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, service-oriented working style
  • Very good command of MS Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and strong affinity for digital tools
  • Structured, proactive and independent working approach with strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on attitude and a strong sense of ownership
  • Fluent in Portuguese, very good command of English
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality
